What the site handles

The site uses PostHog analytics to understand how the site is used. The current configuration creates person profiles only for identified visitors.

Account sign-up and sign-in use an email address and password or Google sign-in. Signed-in users can manage email alerts and followed pundits, firms, and topics from their account.

Email subscription forms collect an email address and the source or follow preference connected to that subscription. Messages include an unsubscribe link, and the account page provides alert controls for signed-in users.

Source applications can include a name, email address, professional links, topics, sample predictions, and an explanation. Profile claims can include a name, email address, role, evidence link, and note. Receipt and page flags can include an optional email address and comment.

The self-service receipt form collects contact details, professional links, a source link, and the prediction submitted. It states before submission that qualifying material may be added to the public archive. The Pro waitlist collects the details shown on that form, including email and optional name, company, and use case.

Published receipt pages are public. They can display the prediction, predictor, source, date, verdict, summary, and supporting links. A submitted profile claim is not approved solely because an email address was verified.
